Save 50% Off a Big Ass Fan

If you need a solution to the sweltering heat in your area and don't want to resort to the big electricity bill that comes with air conditioning, fans might be your best bet. Right now, Amazon is offering the Big Ass Fans Haiku L 52" smart ceiling fan for $426.00. That's a whopping 50% off the original MSRP of $849 and the lowest price I've seen for this fan in years.

Big Ass fans are considered quality fans... a step above the more mainstream options like Hunter or Minka-Aire. Unlike most ceiling fans, Big Ass fans use EC motors, which are more efficient, quieter, and have greater variable speed control. They're optimally balanced and are very quiet for ceiling fans, partly because of their airfoil design, but also partly because they're so big. The bigger the fan, the lower rpm (and thus less noise) required to move the same amount of air.

Big Ass fans are often obnoxiously huge, but the Haiku L is one of their smaller models at "only" 52 inches in wingspan, which is a better fit for average sized rooms. It's also low profile for its size, reaching down only 11.5" from the ceiling. The Haiku L features an integrated 65W equivalent dimmable 2700K LED light. For manual control, an IR remote is included, however the Haiku L is a smart fan. That means you can use your smartphone to control the fan and light and you can program voice commands via Alexa or Google Assistant.
